Effective October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information ArmenianChurchLibrary.com (the “Library,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website and what we do with it. The Library is run by Ara Karamanian.
When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, your e-mail address, and your message. It reaches us by e-mail through our e-mail delivery service.
When you donate. Donations are made through PayPal. You enter your payment details on PayPal’s site, not ours. PayPal tells us your name, your e-mail address, the amount, and sometimes your mailing address. Donations to the Library are not tax deductible.
When you search. The search box sends the words you type to Google, which shows the results on its own website under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Automatically. Like every website, our web host receives the information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you asked for, and uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure.
To answer your messages, to process and keep a record of donations, and to keep the site running and secure.
Only the companies that help us run the site: our web host (Vercel), our e-mail delivery service (Resend), Cloudflare, whose Turnstile check keeps spam out of the contact form, and PayPal for donations. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We don’t sell or rent personal information.
This site doesn’t use cookies to track you, and we don’t let advertising or analytics companies collect information about your visits. Two services load content of their own: PayPal’s donation buttons on our Donations page, and Cloudflare’s spam check on our Contact page. Each may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
Because we don’t track visitors over time or across other websites, a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal doesn’t change anything here.
The Library is for a general audience. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask us what information we have from you, and ask us to correct or delete it, through our contact page. We may need to keep donation records the law requires.
California residents: we don’t share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing (California Civil Code § 1798.83).
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). No way of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.
Our pages link to other websites that we don’t control. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
